KPKP Offers Cat Boarding Service for Homecomers

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Agency opens cat boarding service registration especially for homecomers who own a cat but still confuse where to entrust their cat when they're return to hometown.

We want to facilitate Jakartans who need someone to take care their cats while they are away for homecoming

This service is ready starting June 1. Its location is at Animal Health and Animal Husbandry Service Center Unit (Pusyankeswannak) on Jalan Harsono R.M. No. 28, Ragunan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

"We want to facilitate Jakartans who need someone to take care their cats while they are away for homecoming," mentioned Darjamuni, Jakarta KPKP Department Head, Wednesday (5/29).

According to him, this location has capacity for 60 cats. Anyone who are interested to board their cat can bring their cat using kennel to the Pusyankeswannak. They also need to bring their KTP's photocopy, cat vaccination certificate, and cat identity information for registration.

Jakarta KPKP Department's Pusyankeswannak Head, Renova Ida Siahaan explained, there are one doctor and three nurses who will standby on the location to take care pets and ensure pets' health.

"It costs Rp 50,000 per day. Anyone who is interested can bring their pets and other requirement documents to Pusyankewannak," she mentioned.
